HAVE A GREAT DAY AT SOUTH FORK HIGH SCHOOL AND MIRANDA JR HIGH

*Redwoods Rural Health Clinic: Will be on campus September 27th and is available to see all students and staff members for their medical needs. Free and confidential reproductive health and STD testing is offered through RRHC. Please see Colleen to schedule an appointment and with any questions.

FOCUS ON LEARNING  South Fork High School and Miranda Jr. High will provide all students with the opportunity to develop the knowledge and critical thinking skills to become lifelong learners.

BUS TRANSPORTATION           The school bus provides home to school transportation; therefore you must have a note FROM YOUR PARENT to use a bus stop other than your home stop.   Guests MAY NOT ride the bus.

ACTIVITY BUS             The activity/late bus leaves @ 5:45 PM on Monday through Thursday. Wednesday the bus leaves at 4:45 PM.  No Activity bus on Fridays.

SFHS NEWS   

*CSF MEETING          Meeting in C3 with Ms. Arnold, Tomorrow, Thursday, Sept 15 at 12:45pm.  Fundraising College trip and membership will be discussed.

*SENIORS AND JUNIORS         College & Career Night: will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22nd at Eureka High School from 5:30-8pm. All seniors and juniors are encouraged to attend and transportation will be offered by the school. This event is an opportunity to learn about applying to college, determine what colleges you are interested in, and to learn more about different careers. Sign up for the event in the office and see Colleen with questions.

COMPUTER CLUB        Computer Club meets after school on Thursdays at 3:30 in room C7. Come learn how to make electronics and program video games!!

MENTAL HEALTH          Moriah Miranda will be returning to offer counseling to students. If you have worked with Moriah in the past you will have the option to continue. If you are interested in receiving support please see Colleen for any questions and to sign up. Moriah will be on campus on Wednesdays this year.

OPEN/CLOSED CAMPUS         SOUTH FORK HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ARE THE ONLY STUDENTS THAT MAY LEAVE CAMPUS DURING THE DAY, and only at break and lunch. AT BREAK THEY MAY GO TO THE CAFETERIA OR THE COFFEE SHOP. AT LUNCH THEY MAY GO TO THE CAFETERIA, COFFEE SHOP, STORE AND/OR CAFÉ.

STORE RULES             During lunch 3 students are allowed inside the store at one time. NO STUDENT IS ALLOWED IN THE STORE DURING THE SCHOOL DAY.

STUDENT PARKING      Please park in the student parking lot in front of the library.  The area along side of transportation and maintenance is needed for the business office parking. Other areas are for teachers and visitors. Thank you.

WORK PERMITS           All students working need to renew their work permits.  See Frankie Parks in the attendance office NOW.
